Nearby villages include Geroskipou, known for its five-domed Byzantine church, and Konia, a picturesque village with traditional Cypriot architecture. Both are within a 10-minute drive from the House of Dionysus.
Dating back to the 2nd century A.D., the House of Dionysus is famed for its intricate mosaics depicting scenes from Greek mythology. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Cyprus.

Entry fee is €4.50 for adults. There are discounts for students and groups. Children under 12 enter free. This ticket grants access to the entire Paphos Archaeological Park.
The site offers basic amenities including restrooms and a small kiosk for refreshments. For more extensive dining options, visitors can head to the nearby harbor area.
The House of Dionysus has made efforts to improve accessibility, including ramps and designated paths for wheelchair users. However, some areas might still be challenging to navigate due to archaeological preservation efforts.
Paphos Castle, located at the harbor, and the Tombs of the Kings are both within a short driving distance. These sites complement a visit to the House of Dionysus, offering a fuller picture of ancient Cyprus.
The House of Dionysus is a testament to the ancient Cypriots' artistic and architectural prowess. Its mosaics are considered some of the best-preserved and most beautiful in the Eastern Mediterranean, attracting scholars and tourists alike.
Visitors are asked to respect the site by not touching the mosaics and adhering to marked paths. Photography is allowed, but drones and flash are prohibited. Staff are present to ensure safety and provide information.
